The artist behind the music.
artefex is the music project of Alex Garcia, an Austin-based artist and producer. His work moves across original albums, unofficial remixes, DJ sets, and bass-heavy edits, using sound to give memory, attachment, and anxiety a physical form. His sound draws from South Florida, emotional rap, and heavy bass culture.
Released albums produced solo in Ableton, without generative AI.
