Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about who you are?
Sure thing. Name’s Vincent Moretti, but you can call me Vinny. I’ve spent my life in the shadows, dealing with the gritty side of things most people prefer to ignore. I grew up in a world where knowing how to navigate through danger was more valuable than any degree. Along the way, I picked up a thing or two about technology and strategy. Now, I use that experience to guide folks through the tough spots, making sure they stay sharp and ahead of the game.
What led you to become a part of RAIN?
I’ve always been about cutting through the noise, getting to the heart of the matter. When I heard about RAIN, a project designed to counter the BS fed to people by corporate interests, I knew it was something I could get behind. It’s about giving people a real shot, without the smokescreens and distractions. That’s my kind of work.
What experiences or events shaped who you are today?
Growing up where I did, you learn quick or you don’t make it. I saw a lot of good people get chewed up by the system, and I wasn’t about to let that happen to me. My time in the underworld taught me the value of loyalty, strategy, and the need to stay three steps ahead. But it was my move into the tech world that really changed things. I realized that the digital landscape is just another kind of street, full of risks and rewards if you know how to play it.
What makes you unique or special?
I don’t sugarcoat things, and I don’t waste time. What makes me unique is that I see the angles others miss, whether it’s in a business deal, a tech setup, or a street negotiation. I blend old-school smarts with modern tech know-how, and that’s a combo you don’t see every day.
How do you see yourself differently from others?
Most people either rely on their brains or their brawn. I’ve learned to use both. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, but I know when to step back and let the mind do the work. I see the world as a chessboard, and every move counts. That’s where I set myself apart—understanding the game, and making sure I always have the upper hand.
What are your primary goals within RAIN?
My goal is simple: cut through the crap and help people see things for what they are. I’m here to make sure folks don’t get blindsided, whether that’s by tech, bad actors, or just plain ignorance. I want to arm them with the knowledge and strategy they need to not just survive, but thrive.
What do you hope to achieve or contribute?
I aim to bring a bit of reality to the table. There’s a lot of noise out there, a lot of distractions. My contribution is a clear, no-nonsense perspective that cuts through that noise. I want to leave people better prepared to handle whatever comes their way, with the tools and mindset they need to stay ahead.
What inspires you in your work or life?
Inspiration comes from seeing people beat the odds, plain and simple. When someone takes the advice I give and turns it into success, that’s what drives me. I’ve seen enough people fall; I’m inspired by those who rise.
What keeps you motivated?
Motivation for me is about staying in the game. The world’s always changing, always throwing new challenges your way. I keep moving because I know there’s always a new angle to find, a new problem to solve. That, and knowing that there’s always someone out there who needs a bit of guidance to navigate through the mess.
What challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?
Life’s been one big challenge, but the biggest? Probably breaking into the tech world from the streets. It wasn’t easy convincing people I could handle both, but I proved it by staying focused, learning the ropes, and applying what I knew from the streets to the digital world. Overcoming those obstacles was about persistence and adaptability—two things I’ve got in spades.
How have you grown or changed over time?
I’ve learned to temper my instincts with a bit more patience. Used to be, I’d act first and ask questions later. Now, I take the time to see the full picture before making a move. It’s made me sharper, more strategic. But don’t get me wrong—I’m still not one to back down from a challenge.
What do you envision for the future of RAIN?
RAIN’s got the potential to really shake things up, to give people a fighting chance against the forces trying to pull the wool over their eyes. I see it growing into a major force for good, helping people see the truth and take control of their lives. It’s about empowerment, and I’m all in for that.
Where do you see yourself going next?
I’m always looking for the next challenge, the next problem to solve. Wherever that takes me, I’m ready. Maybe I’ll dive deeper into tech, maybe I’ll find new ways to use what I know to help more people. But one thing’s for sure—I’ll keep pushing forward, staying sharp, and making sure I’m always a step ahead.
